In a very misguided effort to try and show the people of his west-Texas district why they shouldn’t support Donald Trump, 20th District Congressman, Joaquin Castro decided that it would be a wise move to publish a list of donors from his district that have contributed to Donald Trump. Oh…he included their names, addresses, and places of employment.
So, why in the world, would you need to show someone’s place of employment unless you were trying to send a hidden message that you thought it would be a good idea to try and get these people fired, or at the very least, boycott that business? In a move that is right out of the Church of Scientology, Castro, who’s brother is Julio Castro, a presidential candidate, who by the way, stood up for his brother’s actions, decided to throw napalm on the whole situation. This is wrong on so many levels.
First of all, Castro ended up outing someone that supported Donald Trump, but was also a major supporter of his. And that person basically said he was done supporting Castro because of this move. Second, don’t we all have a Constitutional right in this country to support whichever candidate we feel best serves our country’s needs? So, what gives this idiot liberal snowflake Congressman the right to publish such a list? And if that is going to be hailed as a good thing by those Dems running for the White House, maybe what we need to do is start publishing the list of people that give money to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Whackjob 4; Elizabeth Warren and her “native American” roots, Bernie Sanders and his socialist friends; Kamala Harris and all of the attorneys in California that support her campaign. Maybe we just don’t publish those names and addresses. Maybe we boycott their places of business. Maybe we picket those businesses until the candidates drop out.
Maybe in order to fight fire with fire, we don’t take the high road. Maybe Donald Trump has it right by responding to their racist and white supremacy tweets about him. Maybe we dig up dirt on them and smear it all over them. Maybe we go over Democrat supporters’ businesses and boycott them. Maybe we tell our neighbors, our school teachers, our unions that they aren’t welcome in the state any more and get rid of them by any means possible. Maybe this is the start of the revolution Thomas Jefferson talked about?
What Joaquin Castro did was out of bounds in politics. It was beneath contempt. It was a racist maneuver designed to undermine our political system and it cannot be stood for. Joaquin Castro should not be allowed to run for re-election in 2020. He should be taken off the ballot, and put out to pasture. There isn’t a punishment strong enough for this race-baiting idiot.
Civility in politics? Yeah…it’ll return. Only when the left is defeated, dismantled, and totally done away with by whatever means necessary.
Carry on world…you’re dismissed!
