Don’t know if you happened to see the article at http://www.foxnews.com by Justin Haskins, but it was a beaut. He outlines four of Biden’s lies that he loves to tell over and over again. They are all lies we’ve talked about here, but Haskins does a great job in debunking them.
In brief, here they are:
- Inflation is improving. Well, of course, those that watch prices continue to skyrocket know that’s a lie. Out here in the desert, gasoline over the last week went from $3.19 to $3.59 a gallon. Now, realize we’re never the cheapest gas in the country. In fact, each summer when we drive to see our kids and grandkids, the gas we buy here is the highest price we pay on the trip. Yes, inflation is down from 8.6% last summer, but it’s still 6.4%. That’s a whopping five points higher than it was when Biden took office. And it isn’t Putin’s fault or the rest of the world’s fault. It’s up there because of a $1.1 trillion dollar infrastructure bill, and a $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan.
2. Biden created 12.7 million new jobs. No, he didn’t. See, he’s counting all of the people that went back to work in 2021 after the pandemic. That isn’t creating anything. That’s having things get more back to normal. Webform.com says that 114 million people lost their jobs in 2020. That means that 12.7 million of the 114 million got them back in 2021. That’s nothing Biden did. That’s something that the end of the pandemic did. You can’t take credit for that!
3. Biden cut the deficit by $1.7 trillion. Actually, no. He didn’t. He added to it at a rate that has been faster than any other American president in history. When you take into account he’s counting all of the programs Trump had put in place that sunsetted in 2021, yes, there was $1.7 trillion that was spent in 2020 that wasn’t spent in 2021. The reason was because the pandemic was ending. But Biden has added some $4 trillion to the federal debt in just two years. That’s faster than anyone else that’s been in the White House!
4. I won’t raise taxes on anyone making less than $400,00 a year! Well, that got changed to any COUPLE making less than $400,000 per year before he even took office. And that’s not true either. The Inflation Reduction Act adds over 3/4 of a trillion dollars in new taxes to the rolls. A lot of that has to do with corporate taxes and new taxes on oil exploration, drilling, and refining. All of those get passed on to the consumers in higher prices. So, yes, Americans making less than $400,000 a year are indeed paying more in taxes. I think he would be in the clear had he said INCOME taxes, not just taxes.
Now, to say that Joe Biden lies is like saying the sun comes up in the east every day. Everyone knows it. But what has to happen to get rid of this guy in 2024, whomever the Republicans put in to face off against him, needs to be armed with the facts. And they need to confront him with facts that he likes to misquote. You can’t let him get away with anything. He’s one of the most untrustful presidents in our history. He most certainly is one of the more corrupt presidents we’ve had. And there may be only one or two of you that actually think that he is not unfit for office.
So, what is the problem in getting enough independent voters to vote him out of office? Simply put, it’s likeability. Joe Biden to a lot of people is a lot more likeable than say, Donald Trump. And Ron DeSantis is not the most likeable guy that will be in the running either. DeSantis can come off as smug when he’s talking about what he’s done in Florida, granted. But you need to break through that persona and attack “grandpa Joe” with the tenacity that will get these people to wake up. Remember, the entirety of why everyone is constantly being reminded of how feeble, how frail, how senile, and how inept this guy is, is to simply make sure the Republicans get someone that can beat him in 2024. If not, we need to be ready for the liberals to retake the Supreme Court. I don’t know how much longer some of those guys can hang on!
Carry on world…you’re dismissed!
What a horrid thought – if Joe remained as President! Who has likeability with the experience to win? Nickki?

I think there are several…Nikki is one of them, yes, but there are a ton of others. I’m just saying that the only reason I can think of that Joe got elected was he was more likeable than Trump, and probably could be reelected if those two went head to head again. In the latest poll, Nikki DOES beat Biden, but fails to get the nomination over Trump. Imagine that!

Yeah, and like we previously talked about, JOE takes credit for whatever there is out there that is positive. “Oh, I did that!” How many times have you heard that phrase come from his mouth, starting back in his early Senate years. And I would say he IS the most untrustful, corrupt to ever be in the White House. Not sure LBJ is even a close 2nd. He would be close to being close.

As far as corrupt goes, you’re probably right. LBJ was a character to say the least!

Biden’s lies just are absurd and contrary to all reality. By comparison, I’d call T rump’s lies “stretchers”.

I’m still trying to figure out what Trump actually lied about. Maybe the fact he isn’t as rich as he said he was???

That’s a good guess but he’s a “use other peoples money” (OPM) smart businessman to generate production and wealth. Probably he exaggerated economic stats a bit to look more favorable than they were but they were certainly impressive if only half true.

My wife will be happy to hear about that. And to think, I had to take her to Aruba to buy her diamond earrings?!
