The Harris/Biden administration really took it on the chin over the past several days with their foreign trips. First there was the debacle in Guatemala and Mexico as K-baby Harris went south of our border to tell Guatemalans “do not come” to our southern border. It was basically met with the same cackling laugh that Harris uses when she’s asked by American media when SHE is going to go to our southern border. Which she was…and totally blew the answer.
Lester Holt of NBC News did what was supposed to be a puff-snowball interview with Harris about immigration. It was the first time in almost three months that Harris spoke to anyone in the media about immigration. And while she said that climate change was responsible along with corrupt governments for the long lines of people fleeing their country to illegally enter ours, Holt was adamant about asking her when SHE was going to the border.
Harris repeatedly replied “We have been to the border”. Holt reminded her that SHE hadn’t been to the border, to which she cackled and said, “I haven’t been to Europe either, so what is your point?” Obviously, the Harris/Biden folks don’t want to get embroiled in what is most assuredly going to be a losing effort on their side.
Now you can add to that the total catastrophe that President, er…Vice President…er…what in hell is he anyway? Joe Biden faced going to the G-7 meeting. Here is a guy that refused to get involved in our own international border, but wanted to weigh in on Brexit, wanted to weigh in on the “chilled meat ban” the European Union imposes on imported meats (you can’t import chilled meats into the Union, which Ireland is still a part of even though England and Scotland aren’t. That has caused angst as you can imagine in the British Empire. But Joe, couldn’t help but weigh in on that!
Biden broke with United States tradition that had been followed by nearly every president over the past century of not discussing internal politics while on foreign soil. Yet, Biden took the opportunity to lambast Republicans for not going along with a partisan led attempt to form a 9/11 style commission to look into what happened on January 6th at the Capitol. Now, on the surface, you may think that is an ok thing to comment about, and maybe in America it would have been, but you have to wonder where the 9/11 style commissions were to look into the riots in Portland, Seattle, New York, Chicago, and a myriad of other cities where Antifa and Black Lives Matter where engaged in much more destructive and dangerous riots.
Biden had several other gaffes at the G-7, including calling Syria, “Libya” when talking about the humanitarian crisis going on in that country’s civil war. Many of the world’s politicians openly laughed at Biden in his comments, and commented that Trump was MUCH better at world politics than Biden has been so far. About the only thing they were able to applaud Biden for was getting on board with a 15% tax on large companies that have a greater than 10% profit margin, but don’t pay enough in taxes in a lot of the countries that they do business in. Companies like Microsoft, Alphabet/Google, Amazon, and Facebook are on the hook big time for that one.
Next up, Biden’s true test…his first meeting with Russian President, Vladimir Putin. Already it doesn’t look like things aren’t going to go well. Normally after these types of meetings with world leaders, there will be a joint press conference. That isn’t going to happen this time around, and it wasn’t Putin’s insistence. It was Biden’s. Apparently the President of the United States doesn’t have the confidence of speaking to the world press about his talks with Putin without all of his answers being written in a teleprompter.
Carry on world…you’re dismissed!
